Groth & Makarenko, LLC is located in Suwanee, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta listed as one of Money magazine's 2007 Best Places to Live.  Founding partners Paul Groth and Nik Makarenko are very active in the Atlanta area tennis community and support many local organizations.  They are sponsors of the Atlanta Senior Invitational, a National Senior Tennis event held annually in Atlanta, as well as the Peachtree Ridge High School Tennis Team, the University of Georgia Tennis Team and the Birmingham Southern Tennis Team.  Paul and Nik both play in ALTA tournaments, as well as many local charity events.  Paul Groth played tennis for the University of Georgia and on the ATP tour for several years thereafter.  Nik Makarenko played tennis for Birmingham Southern College, and continues to compete in tournaments at a national level.

Paul and Nik also coach and support several local youth athletic teams in the Suwanee, Norcross and Duluth areas.  They are benefactors of several schools in the Peachtree Ridge and North Gwinnett clusters, and are honored to regularly support the Cindy Donald Dreams of Recovery Foundation.
